Situated in Essex, near Burnham-on-Crouch and Maldon, our 'cottages' are luxury flats built in a converted barn, 10 years ago. They are located at Althorne Hall Farm and are part of a family-run business. Originally, six flats were built but only three are currently available - the others are being let on long-term residency contracts. We are flexible and happy to let our cottages either as holiday cottages or as long term lets.
Althorne Hall Farm used to be a dairy farm. In the storms and strong winds of 1987, the barn blew down. Years later, following a successful application to build holiday cottages, the barn was rebuilt and converted in 2005.
The 'cottages' were designed, developed and furnished by Marilyn Bass.

What our guests say...
"A wonderful location in a beautiful setting, we have had many happy times at the fabulous Hall Farm Cottages overlooking the River Crouch. Nothing has ever been too much trouble for the proprietors and we hope to continue to visit for many years to come... not so much a testimonial, more a 'bestimonial'!"

"We had our wedding at Hall Farm Cottages. What a great location, beautiful views and the cottages were wonderful we couldn't have asked for anywhere better to have our Special Day!"
